Peer Review Process

Peer Review Process

Double-Blind Peer Review Standard

Double-Blind Review Policy

Indonesian Journal of Career Education and Employability (IJCEE) employs a Double-Blind Peer Review process. This means that the identity of the reviewers is hidden from the authors, and vice versa, throughout the entire review process to ensure an objective and fair evaluation of the research.

Review Workflow

1

Initial Desk Review

The Editor-in-Chief or Managing Editor evaluates the manuscript's fit with the journal's scope, basic formatting, and plagiarism check (Turnitin). Manuscripts that do not meet these criteria are rejected immediately.

2

Peer Review Assignment

Manuscripts that pass the desk review are sent to at least two (2) independent reviewers who are experts in the relevant field.

3

Review Report

Reviewers evaluate the manuscript based on originality, methodology, clarity, and contribution to the field. They provide recommendations: Accept, Minor Revision, Major Revision, or Reject.

4

Editorial Decision

The Editor makes the final decision based on the reviewers' comments. If revisions are required, authors are given a specific timeframe to resubmit.

Review Timeline

The typical time for the first editorial decision is 4–8 weeks from the date of submission. The final publication timeline depends on the speed of author revisions and the volume of manuscripts.

All review processes are conducted through the Open Journal Systems (OJS) platform.
